Nicolas J. Chaanine Lebanese Contemporary Classical Music Composer

Nicolas J. Chaanine is a contemporary classical music composer from Lebanon, known for blending global musical traditions into his compositions. His opus 1, Transumanti, premiered in New York and with the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra. His second work, Feniciană, also debuted in New York, alongside performances in Italy of both pieces and his art song Adamo. In 2023, his music was featured in Les Musicales de Baabdath. He is also the President of the Beirut Chamber Orchestra, continuing to impact the contemporary classical music scene.
